Sunsets and Stars

Every night the sunset gets more and more beautiful. Since there are no cities in sight, the sky is so dark and full of stars. Going to Vermont in the winter time is one of my favorite places because the stars always shine so bright in the mountains. However, Bahamas ✨ top any other place i’ve been too.

We got to see the swimming pigs today, they were much friendlier then I imagined. They have seen so many tourists, when they hear the engine from your dinghy they come running hoping you will spare them some food scraps. We brought a few carrots and they seemed to enjoy those.

Yesterday we went snorkeling in Bullocks Cave, scenes from a James Bond movie were filmed here. There were so many fish and beautiful coral reefs. As you looked up, you saw a an opening to the surface within the cave. One of my favorite places so far, hope to bring my family back some day.

We are currently near Staniel Cay Yacht Club, about 1/2 way to George Town. Still right on track to be near the famous Chat & Chill Beach Bar (even though it’s closed due to COVID) for Christmas. So beyond lucky and thankful for this amazing opportunity every day. Can’t wait to keep sharing my memories with you. Talk soon.
